It looks like the server rental prices may increase by a few dollars per slot as this is going to cause more and more gamers to join servers hosted by companies and use up quite a lot of bandwidth. Although everyone bashes Xtra for having one of the worst internet connections in New Zealand, most of us are still with them.
The only thing Xtra had going for them at the time was the servers they provided us to play our games on. Now, for people that play Medal of Honor: Allied Assault still are going to suffer the closure the hardest because the only alternative New Zealand server is a clan one - if you're good, you get banned.
Grab tight girls and boys, it's going to be rough in the New Zealand gaming community.
